Hotel projects are our main market. Keegreen supplies wood doors for guest rooms, corridors, elevators, lobbies and back-of-house areas to hotel groups, contractors and fit-out specialists.
What hospitality buyers need from a door supplier
Hotel doors are held to a different standard than residential doors. Three requirements come up in almost every specification:
Acoustic performance. Guest room doors need to block corridor noise. Our solid core construction reaches 32 dB, and the frame is designed so the leaf closes against a compression seal rather than a stop moulding. If you need higher figures for premium categories, we can upgrade the core and the seal profile accordingly.
Fire rating. Corridors and stairwells usually require 30 or 60 minute fire doors. These are supplied with EN 1634 and GB 12955 test reports, and can be paired with self-closing devices and panic hardware.
Finish consistency across the batch. A 300-room project gets installed over several months, so doors from batch three must match batch one. We control veneer selection and finish batches specifically for this, which is why we recommend ordering the full room count in one production run.
Door types for hotel projects
- Guest room entrance doors, usually 800-950 mm wide, with concealed hinges and a card-reader-ready backplate
- Bathroom doors with moisture-resistant cores and aluminium or glass inserts
- Corridor and stairwell fire doors in 30 or 60 minute ratings
- DSU and service doors in lighter core for back-of-house areas
Supply and delivery
We produce roughly 3000 sets per month. A typical 200-room hotel consumes 240-280 sets including corridor and bathroom doors, which we can deliver in a single 40-foot container. Loading port is Qingdao, and we quote FOB, CIF or DDP.
Send us your door schedule and we will return a quotation, a specification sheet and finish samples. If the project is at tender stage we can also prepare a sample door for approval before the main production run.
